What is #Religion? 👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾 What is #Christianity? 👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾 What is the #orthodox religion?   Beloved and respected, all our members who follow the orthodox education that we convey on John's Repentance page; Based on the questions on the topic above, we have sent you the important lesson below, so we entrust you all to read and learn from it. The name Religion is a word that includes theology, rituals and morals that should be possessed by human beings due to faith. Accordingly, religion or faith is defined as believing, trusting, knowing the existence of the Creator, understanding the goodness of His existence, accepting divine facts correctly, never doubting God's divine tasks, and firmly hoping for heavenly life. The foundation of religion is to accept your creator. Acknowledging your Creator begins with believing in being a creature. Because there is no one who says that I am created by myself. Therefore, if a person believes that he is created, then he starts looking for the Creator. Just as no result of work can be obtained without a maker, no being can be obtained without a creator. For example, ships, airplanes, computers, and all technological products that are generally considered to be wonderful are the results of the human brain's and wisdom, not self-existed by their own. So, if the above-mentioned human devices cannot happen by themselves, how can the abstract human mind that produced them be found without the creator? It is not possible. If one considers it possible, his thinking will be the result of lazyiness. This is why, "The lazy man says in his heart that God does not exist." written as Psalm 13:1, Isaiah 45:11. Religion is the path of conscience that connects the creature with the Creator. If a person does not have religion, he will not be able to reach the creator. Because, there is no other way to get there. "Let him know, that he who converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." (John 5:20) says. The 'way' is religion, and the purpose and goal of religion is to be aware of the existance God; and make the creature be guided by the laws and orders of the Creator in order to gain eternal glory. Matthew 25:34. "Who is wise to perceive this thing, who is wise to know it? God's way is honest, and the righteous walk in it. But transgressors will fall under it.” As said (Hosea 14:9) God is the creator of all creations, so God is the Lord and Owner of all creations. That is to say, He is the creator of all things by His divine power, but for Him there is no creator, who created the past for His creations, but for Him there is no past, and He who determines the end for creations, but for Him there is no end. God is, has been, will live forever. Religion is accepting this and living according to the order of God. When we say the creator, we mean who created something that did not exist before , who created the world from non-existence to existence. It is God who brought the world into existence, created all the visible and invisible, the vast and the subtle creations by His divine power. God did not abandon the world after He created it, rather He keeps nurturing it. Since God is the only one who brought this world from non-existence to existence and has no equal in His divine power, God is called one God. To know God means to know and believe that there is one God who existed before the world, who is in the center of the world, who lives through the world, who is a creator, a steward, who lives firmly in his divine nature, who has no loss for his kingdom, who has no loss for his existence. About #marriage and the #Eucharist 👉Question: If two adults got married outside of the church but are Orthodox Christians, are they still able to take Holy Communion now? Or do they need to first take Communion together? ✍Answer  Our family, first, it is important to note that any Christian should not be far from the Holy Communion throuh out his/her life once after he/she become child of God in the 40th  and 80th  day of birth; as  they are  baptized and sealed by Holy Communion and entered the gate point of Christianity since then.   When we come to the question, about marriage:- Marriage is a great mystery: Because it is a a secret of unity between the divine and the flesh. As our Lord said, they become one flesh. The main cause of this is about the three party involved in marriage: The couple and God! If there is anyone missing, it is not considered marriage. Marriage is an event where by Our flesh becomes His flesh and our blood His blood . It is a secret to the couple sealed in the sacred sacrament. All of this is when marriage is fulfilled in his holy flesh and the glorious blood, This is the time we receive invisible grace in visible service. "Together in the flesh: "thness," thy bones of my bones, and Flesh of My Flesh "(Gen. 2:23). This is a truth realized by this mystery. More than physical unity, we find the unity and love of the spirit. In general, marriage is mystery because the brides will change from physical unity to spiritual unity.   Therefore, in short, marriage is unity of two opposite sexes, which is true and Christian marriage fulfilled in the sacrament. Because of physical unity, we will grow up to the unity and love of the spirit, and our Lord Jesus Christ will be our spiritual support. So,  any other than this Church system,  it is the Gentiles, not a Christian marriage.   So our dear member, If you first receive the sacrament upon marriage ceremony, it is not a must to receive together after then; rather they can go alone at their own convinient times and receive Holy couminion alone. Also, when it is convinent time for both, they can also go together and receive individually like others. The main point is that they have to receive it once being together.   But,  knowingly or unknowingly , if they were already married out of the Church system,  they must first repent and receive Holy Communion together by the guidance and assistance of their repetance father. This is a special occation where by they will also be dressed an Honor's garment (Caba) and sit  at a special place. All this will be arranged by the assistance of their repetance father.  So, they celebrate this first day in a different spiritual system. After this, they can receive anytime at their convinient time individually at  regular basis. They can also go together when it is convinient time for both. The point is once they receive together, they can  receive Holy Communion individually; at heir convinience.   But if they have not received the Holy Communion before (being together); they cannot then receive individually, or one of them can not receive alone. If the problem is that one of them refusing or not wanting to receive, then he/she will be given series of spiritual lesson and advice through the father of repentance. Then if he/she agreed on it, they will receive together. And then, they can continue to receive in a regular basis individually. But , if incase, the problem can not be solved, with a series of advise given by the spiritual fathers, then we need to give more try until the end even by involving more Church Scholars and closer families whom he/she can listen. If it still becomes beyond our capacity and if we are sure that all exaustive trial is done ,, then since it is a matter of soul ,a final solution will be given. The solution of the problem will be recommended by their father of repetance and the final decision on it will be made by the couples mutually or individually . ©John's Repentance Follow our Telegram group every day and share it with your friends https://t.me/orthodoxQnAs.
