✍🏾Let us be clear, my child: Salvation comes only through our Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is the Redeemer, the Savior, the High Priest, and the Sacrifice. The Theotokos made the Incarnation of our Savior possible. She is the bridge between God and humanity, the scala coeli (ladder to heaven), through whom God descended to us and through whom we ascend to Him.
As our beloved St. John Chrysostom teaches us to honor the saints and especially the Theotokos: "Let us marvel at her, let us be astonished, let us adore her as the Mother of God; yet let us also imitate her virtuous life." She is the epitome of humility, purity, obedience, and self-sacrifice – a perfect model for every Christian soul striving for theosis.
Therefore, her role in our salvation is indispensable and glorious. She is "more honorable than the Cherubim and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim," because she bore God Himself. Through her, Christ came into the world to redeem it.
May the prayers of our Holy Mother Mary ever uphold you.
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
