    The Liturgy and the Five

    Senses

Continued 👇🏾 ✍🏾The Liturgy as Complete Communion with God ✍🏾When all five senses are united in worship, the believer experiences full communion with God. This is the Divine Liturgy. ✍🏾The education received in the Liturgy is different from ordinary teaching. It is revealed by the Holy Spirit through generations of scholars and saints. The Gospel, Epistles, Acts, Psalms, and hymns are read melodiously, especially from the Psalms of David (Misbak). Through continual participation in the Liturgy, a person spiritually learns the entire Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament and lives the life of the angels on earth. ✍🏾Responsibility Toward the Next Generation The Divine Liturgy is the greatest mystery of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Therefore, it is our responsibility to teach our children: 👉🏾To participate in the Liturgy 👉🏾To bring offerings 👉🏾To prepare themselves spiritually 👉🏾To receive Holy Communion If we fail to pass this sacred tradition to the next generation, we risk losing what has been entrusted to us by the Fathers of the Church. May this heavenly mystery, in which we unite with the angels and glorify our Creator, bring peace and strength to our homes and preserve the Holy Church without wavering. Part 10 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends:https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
