    The Church Also Calls the

Door on the West Side Deje Selam

Continued 👇🏾 ✍🏾The Church also calls the door on the west side “Deje Selam” (Peace Door). This is the door through which a person can forgive someone who has wronged them before entering the Church. The Church also uses names such as “Debre Selam” and “Mekane Selam” for its buildings, signifying places where true peace can be found. ✍🏾 The Church uses the title “Melake Selam” (Messenger of Peace) for the holy angels, as they bring the message of peace to mankind. The priests are also named Melake Selam or Laeke Selam, reflecting their role as chief messengers of peace. ✍🏾 Priests are given this title as well, because they reconcile people with God through repentance, reconcile people with one another, and guide the soul to live in harmony with the body through spiritual education. The Church performs all of this as a spiritual institution that nurtures and maintains peace. part 42 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends:https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
