Fall Adam and Eve Lived in Purity

Continued 👇🏾 ✍🏾 Adam and Eve Before the fall, Adam and Eve lived in purity and communion with God. Their hearts were without corruption, and they experienced God’s presence directly in the Garden. a. Their Creation and Life with God “The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 God planted Eden and placed Adam there: “The Lord God planted a garden in Eden… and there He put the man whom He had formed.” Genesis 2:8 God entrusted Adam with work and commandment: “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it.” Genesis 2:15 He commanded him concerning the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge: “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat… but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat.” Genesis 2:16–17 b. The Creation of Eve God revealed His care further: “The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam… and He took one of his ribs… and made it into a woman and brought her to Adam.”Genesis 2:21–22 c. After the Fall Even after they sinned, Adam and Eve encountered God when He came to judge them: Genesis 3:1–8 This encounter shows the holiness and justice of God, and the consequences of disobedience. Part 34 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
