    His Holy Departure Hidden by

the Father on the 3rd of Hidar

Continued šŸ‘‡šŸ¾ āœšŸ¾ His Holy Departure (Hidden by the Father) āœšŸ¾ On the 3rd of Hidar, after the consecration of the temple called Debre Zion, the body of the great Prophet Moses was enveloped in the light of the Holy Spirit. Then, an angel of God named Gabriel appeared and lifted Saint Neakuto upon his back, leading him through the heavenly gate with the Archangel Gabriel and with Christ Himself. A fiery chariot appeared, shining like flame, with wings like an eagle and great in height. Then our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, came to him surrounded by all His angels, by the twenty-four heavenly priests, by the prophets and apostles, by the righteous and martyrs, by the virgins and nuns, and by His most holy Mother, the Virgin Mary. āœšŸ¾The Lord said to him, ā€œFrom the day you were conceived until now, your sins are forgiven. You have shared in My suffering being pierced and bound for My sake and have forsaken worldly comfort for a bed of ashes. Therefore, I give you a house, a throne, garments, and a crown equal to My servant Yohannes Welde Negodguwad, for you have remembered My Passion.ā€ After these words, our Lord received him, and Saint Neakuto was hidden without seeing death. āœšŸ¾ The Blessing of His Monastery From that day, water began to flow from the natural cave where the church is built like tears streaming from the mountain. To this day, this holy water heals those who come in faith. The Monastery of Saint Neakuto Leab is located about 6 kilometers from the city of Lalibela, at the entrance to the town. It can be reached easily by any means of transport, or by a 30-minute walk May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen.
