Continued 👇🏾 ✍🏾The Mystery of the Wine and the Intercession of Our Lady ✍🏾In the mystery of faith, the wine represents love, the Holy Word, and the precious Blood of our Lord. When the Lord said to His mother, “Woman, what have I to do with you? My hour has not yet come,” He was not rejecting her, but speaking in divine wisdom. ✍🏾The Lord waited until the wine jars were completely empty signifying the end of the old covenant and the beginning of the new. It is said that Since Judas had gone out, the Lord waited until he returned, so that he could not present the miracle as a justification for his evil.” ✍🏾When the Lord said, “I will give you wine My holy blood on the hill of Calvary,” He revealed that His true hour of offering had not yet come. Some, misunderstanding this passage, pretend that the Lord belittled His Mother. But this is false. The commandment says, “Honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20), and our Savior perfectly fulfilled it. Therefore, when the Holy Virgin the Lady of Light said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5), she was showing both faith and obedience. Then the Lord filled the six jars with water and changed them into wine, performing His first miracle. The joy of the feast was restored, and the steward who symbolizes our father Abraham was amazed at the sweetness of the new wine. In this, the intercession of the Virgin Mary and the power of our Savior were revealed together. Through her faith, mercy was poured out upon the people. ✍🏾Conclusion Let us, therefore, honor the great gift we have received through her. Let us cling to her motherly intercession with faith and humility. Through her prayers, may our sins be forgiven, our hearts purified, and our paths guided toward the Kingdom of Heaven.
