Continued 👇🏾 ✍🏾Christ, the Perfect Example of Humility Our Lord Jesus Christ, who for our salvation became poor in His incarnation, is the refuge of the poor and the source of eternal life. When a man said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go,” Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” (Luke 9:58) The Creator of heaven and earth chose to live without a resting place, teaching us that true riches are not found in worldly comfort but in obedience to the will of God. Yet the same Lord, who had nowhere to rest His head on earth, spoke of an eternal home prepared for His faithful ones, saying: “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself;that where I am, there you may be also.”(John 14:2–3) part 4 Continues ...
