👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾The Glorious #Ministry of the #Holy #Angels (Part 9) Beloved children in Christ,Let us open our hearts to understand the ministry of the holy angels The holy angels are pure and faithful servants of God, glorifying Him without ceasing and carrying out His will among humankind. From the time of creation through both the Old and New Testaments, they have revealed God’s love, guided His people, and protected those who walk in His ways. 1. Angels in the Preaching of the Gospel From the very beginnings of the Church, angels have performed their sacred duties. When the apostles were imprisoned by the Jewish priests and Sadducees, an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors at night and commanded, “Go and enter the synagogue and teach the people this message of life” (Acts 5:19-20). Similarly, St. Peter was protected from Herod by the angel of the Lord, demonstrating that angels serve to guide and deliver God’s servants (Acts 12:6-19). Angels also extend God’s care to those outside the Jewish nation, such as Cornelius and his household, guiding them to hear and accept the Gospel (Acts 10:1-7). In heaven, angels rejoice over every soul that repents and turns from sin (Luke 15:10). 2. Angels at the Day of Judgment The ministry of angels is fully revealed at the final judgment. When the Son of Man is revealed in glory, He will come accompanied by holy angels (Matthew 25:31). They will sound the trumpet, raising the dead (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16), and summon all to meet the Bridegroom (Matthew 25:6). At His command, they will separate the righteous from the wicked, sending evildoers to a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:41-42). God has appointed angels to punish evil and strengthen those who do good, demonstrating divine justice and care (Romans 13:4). Even now, angels serve as guardians, protecting the lives and paths of human beings from harm (Matthew 18:10). They guide us in both our physical and spiritual lives, interceding before God to grant us grace and opportunity for repentance (Luke 13:6-9). 3.Prayers and Intercession of the Holy Angels We, following the example of our fathers, pray with devotion: 👉🏾 “Holy angels, intercede for us before God our God, intercede for us.” 👉🏾 “The ninety-nine angels, intercede for us every day.” 👉🏾 “Holy angels, intercede for us, that we may be protected from evil, guided in righteousness, and granted a life pleasing to God.”. part 10 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends:https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
