    The Angels' Guidance for Christians

Just as the Israelites Were Guided And

Continued ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸพThe Angelsโ€™ Guidance for Christians: Just as the Israelites were guided and protected by an angel until they reached their inheritance, we Christians are guarded by angels throughout our earthly journey until we inherit the kingdom of heaven. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ The Testimony of David: Saint David wrote:- โ€œHe will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.โ€(Psalm 91:11โ€“12) โœ๐Ÿพ This means that the angels protect us throughout our life, guiding our conscience so we do not stumble into sin or fall into the traps of the devil. As the Apostle Paul said, โ€œAre they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?โ€ (Hebrews 1:14) The holy angels intervene and deliver us from every trial and danger. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ They saved Lot from the city of destruction, Jacob from the wrath of Laban and Esau, Daniel from the mouths of lions, and the three young men from the fiery furnace. (Genesis 19:1โ€“22; Genesis 32:1) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ They fed the hungry prophet Elijah when he fled from Queen Jezebel and lay in the wilderness exhausted by hunger. The angel of the Lord brought him food and water, strengthening him for his journey.(1 Kings 19:5โ€“7) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ When Daniel was cast into the lionsโ€™ den by King Cyrus of Persia, the angel of the Lord commanded the prophet Habakkuk to take food to him in Babylon. The angel carried Habakkuk with the food, delivered it to Daniel, and returned him safely. (Daniel 14:32โ€“38) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸพThe angel of the Lord also delivers us from our enemies, both seen and unseen. They surround the faithful like a wall of light, defending them from harm. โ€œThe angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.โ€(Psalm 34:7; 2 Kings 6:16โ€“18) The Ministry of the Angels in the New Covenant The ministry of the holy angels in the New Testament begins with a message of good news the divine announcement of salvation and the revelation of Godโ€™s mercy to humankind. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ The angel first appeared to the priest Zechariah as he served in the temple, proclaiming the joyful message that his barren wife, Elizabeth, would bear a son John, who would prepare the way of the Lord. (Luke 1:11โ€“17) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ The angel Gabriel then brought the greatest announcement in all creation to our Lady, the Holy Virgin Mary: that she would conceive and give birth to the Son of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Her humble obedience became the door through which salvation entered the world. (Luke 1:26โ€“38) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ When our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, the holy angels appeared to the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks by night. They proclaimed the good news with radiant joy, and the heavenly host sang in harmony with humankind: โ€œGlory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.โ€(Luke 2:8โ€“20) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ At the Resurrection of our Lord, the angels again declared the joyful message of victory over death, saying to the women at the tomb: โ€œWhy do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.โ€(Luke 24:5) ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ And at the Ascension, as the disciples stood gazing into heaven, two angels clothed in white appeared to them, saying: โ€œMen of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way you saw Him go.โ€(Acts 1:11) Thus, from the beginning of the Gospel to the Ascension of Christ, the holy angels proclaimed the good news of salvation, strengthened the faithful, and bore witness to the eternal plan of God. They continue even now to remind us of that same message: that Christ, who ascended in glory, will return again in glory to judge the living and the dead. part 9 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. ยฉ John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends:https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
