✍🏾 Saint Paul also declared his longing to share in the Lord’s suffering:
“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and may share in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, that by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.”
(Philippians 3:10–11)
✍🏾 He testified again, saying:
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”(Galatians 2:20)
In this, the apostle teaches that the Christian life is a participation in the Cross not in sorrow alone, but in the power and love that flow from it.
✍🏾 The Lord also spoke of the final judgment, saying:
“Let both grow together until the harvest; and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into My barn.”(Matthew 13:30)
The harvest represents the end of the age, when the righteous and the wicked shall be separated.
✍🏾 At that time, the righteous will receive the crown of glory. The apostle James wrote:
“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.”(James 1:12)
This crown of life is also the crown of righteousness, given to those who persevere in faith.
Thus, all the saints, righteous men, and holy martyrs who endured tribulation for the sake of Christ have received that eternal reward. Their suffering on earth became the doorway to their heavenly inheritance the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world.

May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
