āš¾ The Intercession of Saint Philip the Deacon:
The grace of intercession was not limited to the apostles alone. Saint Philip, one of the seven deacons, was filled with the same power of the Holy Spirit. Through his prayers, unclean spirits fled from the possessed, crying out with loud voices, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed (Acts 8:7). His ministry revealed that the Spirit of Christ dwells in all who live in holiness, enabling them to intercede for the healing and deliverance of others.
Through these sacred accounts, we behold the shining truth that the saints are living instruments of divine mercy.
In them, we see the eternal compassion of God made visible. For He who once listened to Abraham, Moses, and Jeremiah in the Old Covenant now hears the prayers of His saints through the New. Thus the Church, surrounded by this great cloud of witnesses, lives under the shelter of their prayers, strengthened by their faith, and comforted by their ceaseless intercession before the throne of God.

May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
