    The Lesson for the Faithful

the Great Lesson We Learn From Her

Continued 👇🏾 The Lesson for the Faithful The great lesson we learn from her holy life is this: in our Christian journey, when one trial ends, we must prepare ourselves for another. We should never become proud or self-justifying after passing through one hardship, for the path to heaven is lifelong perseverance. The apostles themselves warned us of this truth, saying, “It is through much labor and tribulation that we must enter the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22) Therefore, we must guard ourselves against the false teachings of hypocrites who mock the holy matter of salvation. Our faith rests not in comfort but in endurance. We have a faithful God who will grant us entry into the heavenly Jerusalem, the holy city of Debre Kusqam (Mekane Ereft), which we long for and hope to inherit. ✍🏾 When our Holy Virgin Mary endured three years and six months of persecution and hardship with her beloved Son, the power and protection of the Most High never departed from her. The holy angels who assisted her throughout her trials also glorified her with songs of praise. That is why our Church proclaims: “The power of the Most High surrounded her with wondrous splendor, clothing her in divine light." This divine protection revealed in the life of Our Lady is also granted to all who believe in Christ, who suffer for His Name, and who remain steadfast in the true faith He has entrusted to us. Conclusion May our Lord and God separate us from the Herodians those who persecute truth and unite us with the Christians who suffer for righteousness. May He count us among those who stand firm in faith and receive the incorruptible crown. Let us pray that through the intercession of the Holy Virgin Mary, the Apostle John, and all the saints who endured suffering for truth, we may find strength to persevere until the end. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matthew 5:10) Part 3 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
