    👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾#Abune #Gebre #Menfes #Kidus, ( Commemoration of #Tikimt 5) “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15 Beloved in Christ, children of the Orthodox faith and guardians of the ancient covenant, today on Tikimt 5 we lift our hearts to honor the righteous and fiery witness of Abune Gebre Menfes kidus, whose memory rises like incense before the throne of God. His life, shines beyond it filled with holiness and sacrifice.Let us approach this remembrance with reverence His Holy Origin and Miraculous Birth In the land of Nhissa, Egypt, a barren couple, Simon and Aqleas, mourned for thirty years, childless and heavy with longing. But their mourning was turned into joy, for the Lord, who opens barren wombs and remembers His servants, answered their tearful supplication. Aqleas, in her travail of spirit, fell before the Holy Trinity in the temple and lo! a voice from the heights proclaimed: "Receive a son whose glory is greater than the height of heaven." On Megabit 29 he was conceived; on Tahisas 29 he was born.but in exultation and divine utterance. For the infant, upon his arrival into the world, stood up and proclaimed: “Glory to the Father, glory to the Son, glory to the Holy Spirit, who has come forth in the light of the world!” that a child would speak and praise the Trinity from the very womb? From that hour, he refused all earthly sustenance. Like the angels, he neither ate nor drank, but gave himself wholly to thanksgiving and glorification.
