The Vineyard and the Days of Creation
✍🏾After the author praises our Lady, the wise Solomon says, “Catch the little foxes that destroy our vineyard.” (Song of Songs 2:15)
The vineyard represents the Law, and the keeper of the vineyard prays to the Virgin Mary to protect us from fox-like hypocrites and demons who seek to destroy the vineyard of our hearts.
✍🏾Mary’s mother, Saint Hannah, is likened to the third, fourth, and seventh days of creation. On the third day, when God created plants, flowers, and fruits (Genesis 1:11–13). imagined Saint Hannah as the day Tuesday ,our Lady as the flower, and the Lord whom she bore as the fruit that came from that flower.
On the fourth day (Wednesday), when God created the sun, the moon, and the stars, he imagined Saint Hannah as a day wednesday ,our Lady as the sun, for she bore Christ, the Light of the World.
✍🏾On the seventh day, God rested from all His works. In the same way, through our Lady, all creation finds rest for she gave birth to the Lord who is the eternal rest of heaven and earth. Through her, the weary find comfort and peace, fulfilling he prise God by saying: “The Sabbath was made for man; He made the Sabbath a rest for humanity.”
4.6 The Revelation of the Holy Trinity through Our Lady
✍🏾“In you, in the Jordan and on Mount Tabor, He revealed the mystery of the Trinity to mankind. O Virgin, your light has manifested His wonders and scattered the darkness with His brightness. Through you, God made known His unity and His Trinity in the Jordan and on Mount Tabor.”
✍🏾When the angel Saint Gabriel announced the good news to our Lady, he said, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35).
✍🏾In these words, the mystery of the Holy Trinity was revealed: the sprit of God is called Holy Spirit , the Son is called the Power of the Most High, and the Father is the Most High . Thus, in the Annunciation, the Trinity was revealed through the Virgin Mary. She was united with the Son in the body He took from her, while the Father testified to Him as His beloved Son, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:16–17).,the holy spirit ot help her to be the mother of God.
✍🏾When the Son was baptized in the Jordan, the Father appeared in a cloud and bore witness to Him, while the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove. In that moment, the false claim of those who said that God was one person with many names was destroyed. All three Persons appeared together in perfect harmony the Son in the flesh, the Father in the cloud, and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.
✍🏾And again, on Mount Tabor, the Father’s voice was heard in a cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.” (Matthew 17:5)
Thus, both in the Jordan and on Mount Tabor, the divine mystery of the Holy Trinity was revealed through the presence of the Son, the testimony of the Father, and the descent of the Holy Spirit.
