    What Then Have We Gained

Through This Redemption on the Cross

Continued 👇🏾 What then have we gained through this redemption on the Cross? 1. We have gained life. Once death ruled over us, for through Adam’s sin death reigned from generation to generation (Rom. 5:12–14). But now, as Paul writes: “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all shall be made alive” (1 Cor. 15:22). It is also written: We all once lived in the lusts of our flesh and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ’ (Ephesians 2:3–5). For our Lord has abolished death by His death (2 Timothy 1:10).” Therefore, beloved, let us not look upon the Cross with sorrow only, but with awe and thanksgiving. For what was once a curse has become our blessing, what was once shame has become glory, what was once death has become life eternal. Part 9 Continues ... May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends:https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
