The Witness in Revelation
In the book of Revelation, two angels (guardians of churches) are revealed:
The angel of Sardis was reproved for his dead works and commanded to repent.
But the angel of Philadelphia was praised: “You have kept My word and have not denied My name. Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan… bow down before your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.” (Rev. 3:8–9).
Thus, God Himself declares that those whom He loves shall receive honor from all even from their enemies.
Conclusion
Therefore, brethren, let us not resist what God Himself has ordained. Prostration of grace is not the worship of creatures, but the acknowledgment of God’s power manifested in His saints, in His Cross, in His holy Church. To bow before them is to confess the One who dwells in them.
Let us then give thanks, lifting our voices in praise:
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. .
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
