In relation to this, if evil thought of sin come to our conscience and bother us, we should approach our father of Repentance and explain this thought to him to be healed from sin and receive the canon of repentance and counselling. The evil spirit that troubles us will also be driven away from us. Because if the conscience is not clean and purified, it will not give us peace, because that conscience is the voice of God in us, and it constantly asks us. Conscience is the greatest judge. Conscience reprimands, criticizes - we cannot deceive and silence it, we must listen to our conscience; Our conscience tells us the same when we are free. Moreover, the benefit of our repentance is that we are helped by prayer so that we are not tempted by the same sin again, and we can receive advice and instruction from the father of repentance, as well as rebuke the evil spirit that tempts us.
