    St. Yared: Mary as the

    Golden Ark

Continued 👇🏾 The Mother of God: The Golden Ark Saint Yared, that holy tongue of Ethiopia, proclaimed: “You are purer than the pure, like an ark made of unblemished wood adorned with gold... the chosen Virgin.” If Christ is the Ark, then Mary is the Ark’s Ark, the dwelling of the Incarnate Word. She is golden both within and without, sanctified in body and soul by the Holy Spirit. Her womb bore the living Word as once the Ark bore the tablets of stone. To honor her is to honor Him who dwelled within her. To ignore her is to wound the One she bore. Let no man say he honors the King while despising His throne. All Believers: Living Arks of the Spirit Saint Paul, that pillar of fire, reminds us that we too are arks temples of the Holy Spirit: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God?” (1 Cor. 3:16–17) Each Christian, baptized into Christ, becomes a dwelling of the divine. As the Ark carried the presence of God in the wilderness, so too do we carry His presence in our very bodies. This is no metaphor—it is a mystery and a responsibility. In Conclusion: A Communion of Names To write the names of the saints upon the altar ark is not an innovation it is a theological act. It testifies to: Their faithfulness, Their union with Christ the Ark, Their presence among us, And their eternal glory written also in the Book of Life (Rev. 13:8). Let this be our joy: that in honoring them, we honor the One who called them, crowned them, and made them partakers of His eternal liturgy. May their memory be eternal, and may their names written on the altar be written also upon our hearts. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
