    Abraham's Tent and the Holy

Virgin Mary the Church Sees in Abraham's

Continued 👇🏾 Abraham’s Tent and the Holy Virgin Mary The Church sees in Abraham’s tent a foreshadowing of the Theotokos, the Virgin Mary: Just as travelers found rest in Abraham’s tent, so souls find rest in Mary’s intercession. The ox that praised the Trinity is a figure of creation glorifying the Incarnate God. Abraham’s tent became a dwelling place of God, and Mary’s womb became the temple of the Most High. Abba Hiriakos said, “You are the one who gives the price of hospitality to Abraham, to Abraham the price of his religion.” This emphasizes that the fulfillment of Abraham’s hospitality and faith is found in Mary bearing Christ. The event also aligns chronologically with divine economy: 5,500 years after Adam’s fall, in the sixth millennium, the angel Gabriel was sent to Mary. The reference to “the sixth month” in Luke 1:26 signifies not only time but fulfillment of prophecy and the Advent of the Incarnation. Living the Mystery Today Beloved, let us not relegate this event to ancient history. The appearance of God in Abraham’s house is a living mystery a symbol and a call. It teaches us: God reveals Himself in the homes of the humble and hospitable. He visits those whose hearts are generous and pure. Just as Abraham’s house was blessed with the promise of Isaac, so shall ours be filled with life and fruitfulness if we invite the Lord in. Let us then: Host guests with joy Feed the hungry Live with compassion and mercy Practice hospitality not only in deed but in spirit Open our hearts as Abraham opened his tent Then the Lord, the Holy Trinity, will dwell in us not as a passing guest, but as the very abiding presence of divine grace. Conclusion: A Covenant and a Call Hamle 7 is more than a date it is a threshold of divine visitation: A promise of life through Isaac A foretelling of the Virgin Birth A covenant with Abraham, whose seed (Christ) would bless all nations A sign of intercession, for Abraham pleaded for Sodom A reminder that the saints stand continually before God and intercede for us Even today, the Trinity stands at the door of our hearts and homes. May we not let Him pass by. may the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
