    There Is One Body and

One Spirit Just as You Were Called

Continued 👉🏾 “There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to one hope when you were called—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all.” (Ephesians 4:4–6) Therefore, to believe what Saint Peter believed, to worship as he worshipped, and to live as he lived that is the mark of the one true religion. Any deviation from this is not a new expression of the same faith, but a departure from the apostolic way. To say “many religions, one faith” is to speak as one who divides Christ. For Christ is not divided. His Body, the Church, is not a body with many heads or many minds, but one holy and apostolic. Thus, the manifestation of one faith is one religion, and different religions—rooted in different beliefs and different practices—cannot be the offspring of the same faith. Beware the Spirits Yet it was revealed even in the time of the holy Apostles that there would arise other faiths, other gospels, other spirits. But these are not of God. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1) Thus, the Church stands as a lighthouse in the storm, holding forth the faith that was once delivered. Let not the winds of modern confusion, nor the voices of false unity, lead us astray. Hold fast to the one religion, the one faith, and the one Lord. Final Exhortation May the God of truth preserve you in steadfastness. May you never forsake the one religion, nor wander from the one faith. Do not look to the left or to the right, but let your eyes be fixed upon Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
