Let every soul be as a child—simple in heart, pure in word, honest in praise. For when the pure offer praise, it is as a sword against the enemy. If children are silenced, then the stones shall cry out. But God forbid that the Church become silent, that our lips grow mute, that praise is absent in His temple!
7. A Final Benediction – May We Be Found Worthy
And so, we cry with the holy liturgy of Saint Gregory: May the kindness of the Most High God, the intercession of our Lady, the Holy Virgin Mary, and the prayers of all the saints help us to recognize our fathers who are true servants of God, to follow their example, to cast off the burden of sin, and to live a life worthy of His glory.
Let us be among those who greet the Lord with joy, not only with palm branches, but with hearts washed in His blood, with lips sanctified by His truth, with lives offered as living sacrifices.
A Final Reflection
Brethren, as we walk the path of Lent, let us not treat this feast as mere history. The Lord still desires to enter Jerusalem our hearts. Let us loosen the bonds that keep us from Him. Let us lay down the garments of pride, the branches of our vain ambitions, and welcome the only true King.
Let Hosanna not be a cry of the crowd alone, but a hymn sung by the soul:
“Hosanna! Save us, O Lord!”
“Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!”
And as the Church sings in chorus from the rising of the sun to its setting, let every breath we take echo the same:
Hosanna in the Highest! Glory to the King of Peace!
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
