David was anointed king yet spent years as a fugitive in the wilderness.
God’s plan was never absent from their lives, though their circumstances seemed contrary. The same is true for us. When we labor below our level, when we live beneath our expectations, we must not despair. This does not mean God’s plan has failed; rather, it means He is shaping us for His divine purpose.
The Call to Perseverance
When Abraham obeyed, he encountered famine. When we follow God’s voice, we may encounter lack, opposition, and hardship. But this is not a sign of abandonment; it is a sign of preparation. The road of faith is not one of ease but of endurance.
Let us then cast aside despair. Let us reject the lies of the enemy. No matter the trial, no matter the hardship, let us stand firm in the knowledge that God’s will cannot be thwarted.
Though we fall, we shall rise. Though we are opposed, we shall prevail. Though the way is dark, the light of Christ shall lead us forward.
Glory be to God, to the Virgin, and to the Cross, forever and ever. Amen!
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
