- In addition, if we testify that we hate sin, but talk about it in a playful way, then we do not hate sin. "When a sieve is shaken, the husks appear; so do people’s faults when they speak." (Sira 27:4) and "Do not accustom your mouth to coarse talk, for it involves sinful speech." (Sira 23:13). Therefore, however much we are tempted by the devil, however much he drives us towards sin, if immediately the will of our heart and the knowledge of our mind operate simultaneously to understand it's futility and refute her, then truly our rejection of sin is perfect. It will be confirmed that we have identified her as our enemy. Since it is dogs who return to its vomit, do not return to the sin you repentance for!
In order not to fall back into sin, it is important to regularly consult a penitent father or a religious teacher, pray as much as possible, go to church and listen to the word of God, read spiritual books even at home, and listen to spiritual teachings and hyms.
To summarize, a Christian should do the following after washing their sinful body from sin and purifying true lives:
1st/ Above all, be careful not to go back to sin again and defile your sacred life, but if we fall again with an overwhelming temptation; We need to repent immediately.
2nd/ If it is the will of God, partake the Holy Communion regularly, fast, pray and prostrate as much as you can without stopping and without tiring.
3rd / Giving to the poor from what you can afford, and giving to God what belongs to God (giving tithes).
4th/ Always seeking the advice of the fathers and being obidient to them. Going to the church regularly and learning the word of God.
5th/. Always read spiritual books that serve as a close teacher and mentor, do your part to live in peace and love with patience and wisdom in your life, workplace, social affairs with all mankind.
All these and other spiritual things can be done when a person's life is renewed through repentance, so believe that God will keep your life clean and holy and may God help you to put into practice the spiritual advice given to you above.
3. Regarding the father of repentance:
We recommend getting a father who prioritizes the protection of his flock (his spiritual children) and always supervises and monitors their spiritual lives. Therefore, if there is a priest in your area who will advise and teach you, you can make him your father of repentance. If you can't find one in your area, contact a diligent priest who may beat a distance, either by yourself or someone you trust, and ask him to be your penitent father. If none of the above options work for you, you can contact us directly and we will help you find a father of repentance.
