    A Practice Rooted in Revelation

the Fast of Gehad Is a Divine

Continues ☝🏽 --- A Practice Rooted in Revelation The Fast of Gehad is a divine invitation to reflect on the revelation of Christ's glory—both in His humble incarnation and in the majestic unveiling at His baptism. By observing this fast, we are reminded of the great mystery of our faith: God, the infinite and eternal, chose to dwell among us as man, and through His baptism, He revealed Himself as the medicine of mankind, fulfilling the prophecies of old. --- Concluding Reflection The Gehad Fast is more than abstention from food; it is an ascent of the soul, a participation in the divine mysteries, and a celebration of the revelation of Christ. Let us approach this sacred practice with reverence, allowing it to transform us into vessels of grace. May we fast not merely with our mouths but with our hearts, embracing the holiness it imparts, and may our journey through this fast lead us ever closer to the One who loved us and gave Himself for us. In the spirit of repentance and renewal, let us echo the words of the Father: "This is my beloved Son; listen to Him." May our fasting lead us to hear, obey, and glorify Him forever. Amen. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
