It is important to note that the opening and closing of the keys to a house or door is not a physical thing; rather, it refers to the authority given to the apostles to enter the kingdom of heaven and to deny entry to those who do not deserve it. It is also important to understand that the concept of "loosing" does not refer to physical bindings, such as ropes or chains, used to punish someone for a crime they have committed in this world. Instead, it refers to the grace given by the Holy Spirit to atone for the sins of sinners and to hold their lives accountable, as previously explained.
