    What Is From God Question

Hey I Had One Question How Do

    #god
About what is from #God. Question፦ Hey I had one question, how do we know if something is from God or not? Answer፦ My child, your question is one that has echoed through the ages, pondered by saints and sinners alike. It is a question that speaks to the very heart of our relationship with the Divine. Discerning the will of God is indeed a subtle art, requiring patience, humility, and a heart attuned to the whispers of the Holy Spirit. Let us turn to the wisdom of the Fathers: Examine the fruits: Saint John of the Ladder reminds us, “Every good thing, if it is truly good, is peacefully sown, peacefully grows, and peacefully leads to the harbor of salvation. But anything that is done with confusion will have a confused end.” (Ladder 26:138). Does this thought, this desire, this path, lead to peace, to love, to humility, to growth in virtue? Or does it lead to turmoil, to pride, to self-seeking, to separation from God and neighbor? Test it against Scripture: The Holy Scriptures are our compass, guiding us towards the heart of God. As it says in Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Does what you are discerning align with the teachings of Christ and the Apostles? Pray for guidance: Approach the throne of grace with a humble and open heart. Ask God, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to reveal His will to you. As He promises in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Seek counsel from the wise: Do not rely solely on your own understanding. Consult with your Spiritual Father, a priest, or a trusted elder in the faith. They can offer guidance based on experience and the teachings of the Church. Remember, my child, God speaks to us in many ways: through the quiet voice of our conscience, through the wisdom of the Scriptures, through the counsel of those who love Him, and through the events of our lives. Be patient, be persistent in prayer, and trust that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). May the Lord illuminate your path and grant you discernment. Do not hesitate to share what weighs upon your heart, and we can explore it together in the light of Christ. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
