    Preparation Needed for Marriage Question

How Should a Woman Work on Hersel

    #marriage
About preparation needed for #marriage Question፦ How should a woman work on herself to prepare to be a godly wife for someone. Answer፦ Peace be upon you, daughter, and may the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you in your journey. It warms my heart to hear you seeking guidance on the path to becoming a godly wife, a calling both sacred and beautiful. Remember the words of Proverbs 14:1, "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands."  Therefore, focus your preparation on these pillars: Cultivate your relationship with God: Just as a lamp needs oil to shine brightly, so too does our soul need the light of Christ.  Dedicate time each day to prayer, study of the Holy Scriptures, and meditation on His Word.  The Psalms, especially, offer wisdom for women seeking to follow God's will. Embrace humility and service:  St. Paul reminds us in Philippians 2:3, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves."  A godly wife finds joy in serving her family, putting their needs before her own, just as our Lord humbled Himself for our salvation. Learn the art of homemaking:  Proverbs 31 praises the woman who "looks well to the ways of her household."  This encompasses not just physical tasks, but creating a haven of peace, love, and order for your future family.  Learn to cook nourishing meals, manage a home with care, and create a welcoming space for your loved ones. Develop wisdom and discernment:  Proverbs 19:14 says, "Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord."  Seek wisdom in the Scriptures, from the teachings of the Church Fathers, and from the counsel of wise elders. Adorn yourself with a gentle and quiet spirit:  1 Peter 3:4 tells us that true beauty comes not from outward appearance, but from "the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."  Cultivate patience, kindness, and a peaceful demeanor. Remember, daughter, marriage is not a destination but a journey of two souls striving towards Christ together.  Pray for guidance in finding a man who shares your faith and values. Do not be afraid to seek guidance from your spiritual father or a trusted elder in your community.  They can offer personalized counsel on your path. May God bless your journey and grant you the wisdom and grace to become the godly wife He desires you to be. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
