    If Those Who Receive the

Sacrament Are Married They Should Abstain

(Continued) 👆 If those who receive the sacrament are married, they should abstain from meat for three days before receiving communion. This is not because sexual relationship is a sin or unclean but because it is a work of the flesh. We do this out of reverence for the Eucharist. One should confesses a known sin and say, "Forgive me for any unknown sins," and cleanse their heart of revenge and keep their body away from wrongdoing. In order to receive Holy Communion, one should fast for 18 hours without food or water, and wait until the food is removed from the stomach. If a person has a nocturnal emission the night of, they should not receive communion on that day. On the eve, one should take a bath and prepare clean clothes. It is necessary to get to church before the services start. A person who comes in the middle of the Liturgy and has not properly consecrated themselves should not receive communion. A woman should not receive communion during her menstrual period for up to seven days. Afterward, she should wash herself and receive communion. As she gets close to giving birth, she should not receive communion until the child is born and christened. She should wait until she has gains back her energy before she continues taking part of the Eucharist. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
