    Our Lord Jesus Further Reinforces

This Truth Declaring if You Abide In

Continued ☝️ Our Lord Jesus further reinforces this truth, declaring, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you" (John 15:7). This abiding is not a passive state but an active, continuous dwelling in His presence and obedience to His commandments. The Apostle John echoes this sentiment: "And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight" (1 John 3:22). From these sacred scriptures, we understand that obedience to God's word is paramount for our prayers to be effective. Disobedience erects a barrier between us and God, hindering our prayers from reaching His throne. As the prophet Isaiah lamented, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2). Disobedience is an offense before God, a transgression that obstructs the channel of communication with Him. It is not that His arm is too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear, but our sins create a chasm that only repentance can bridge. Therefore, if we persist in rebellion, our prayers become like clanging cymbals—noise without substance. To become heirs of His glorious name, we must wash ourselves in the waters of repentance, standing before Him in purity and holiness. Let us heed the exhortation of the Apostle Paul: "I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting" (1 Timothy 2:8). In purity of heart and steadfast faith, our prayers ascend as sweet incense before the Lord. In summation, if we obey the word of God, He will indeed hear our prayers. But if we remain rebellious, harboring sin and unforgiveness, our prayers will falter. Let us not allow disobedience to hinder our communion with the Almighty. Instead, let us embrace a life of repentance, humility, and obedience, so that our prayers may be powerful and effective. Beloved, let us draw near to God with sincere hearts, cleansed and consecrated, confident that He who promised is faithful. Let us pray without ceasing, with hearts broken over our sin yet hopeful in His mercy. And as we do, may we experience the fullness of His grace, becoming living testimonies of His unfailing love. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every language that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of the Holy Mother of God, the Virgin, and the Cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
