    Leaving the Pth of the

    Wick Folks Will Be Attending

About leaving the pth of the wick folks will be attending Repentance is not merely a single act, but a continual return to God, a daily turning away from sin and a reorientation of our hearts toward His will. As the prophet Ezekiel reminds us, "If a sinner turns from his sins and does righteous things, he will save his life" (Ezekiel 18:27-32). In these words, we find hope: no matter how far we have fallen, the door to repentance remains open. But we must act swiftly, for as St. Peter warns, "The day of the Lord will come like a thief" (2 Peter 3:9-10). We are given this life as a time for repentance, a time to turn back to God before it is too late. Repentance requires more than regret for our sins; it requires a complete transformation of our lives. To repent is to change direction, to abandon the evil ways that once enslaved us and to walk in the light of God's truth. This process is not easy, for it requires humility, perseverance, and the grace of God. Yet, as St. John Afework so wisely said, "To fall and get up is Adamic, not to get up after falling is diabolical." It is in our nature to fall, but we must never remain in our sin. To lie prostrate in sin is to submit to the will of the devil, but to rise in repentance is to reclaim the image of God that dwells within us. God's Patience: A Call to Act Now We are reminded by the apostle Peter that God is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). However, this patience is not to be taken for granted. The time for repentance is now. The day of the Lord will come, and we know not the hour. Therefore, we must make every day, every moment, an opportunity to turn back to God. Each breath we take is a gift of His mercy, a chance to repent and to live as He has called us to live. We must not delay, for delay is the weapon of the enemy. The devil whispers that there is always tomorrow, that there is always more time to repent. But the truth is, we do not know how much time we have. Therefore, let us act with urgency, making today the day of our salvation, the day we turn from sin and embrace the life that God has prepared for us. Conclusion: The Path of Repentance and Redemption Beloved, the way out of evil paths is a journey of discipline, of virtue, of prayer, and of repentance. It is a journey that requires us to control our senses, to flee from evil and pursue good, to ask for God's help in constant prayer, and to turn back to Him in true repentance. This is not a journey we take once, but a lifelong pilgrimage toward the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us not be complacent in our spiritual lives, but let us strive with all our might to live according to the will of God. As the Scriptures teach us, our God is merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. He does not desire the death of the sinner but longs for us to turn back to Him and live. May we heed this call, and by His grace, walk the path of righteousness, leaving behind the snares of the evil one, and finding our rest in the loving arms of our Savior. Amen. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen. ©John's Repentance Follow our Telegram group and share it with your friends፦ https://t.me/orthodoxQnAs
