    We Are Just

About #faith, #works and #salvation Question፦ Hello,I have a question? Are we are justified by our faith or by our works in the Kingdom of God? Or is it both? As faith without works is dead. Thanks Answer፦ Beloved in Christ, Your inquiry touches upon the profound mystery of our salvation in the Lord. The Orthodox Church teaches us that faith and works are inseparable in the journey toward the Kingdom of God. As the Apostle James wisely instructs us, "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2:17). This passage illuminates the truth that genuine faith naturally manifests through loving actions toward God and our neighbor. In the Orthodox understanding, we are initially justified by grace through faith, which then must be actualized through our deeds. This dynamic synergy between faith and works reflects our cooperation with God's grace, guiding us to grow in holiness and union with Him. To cultivate this balance, I encourage you to deepen your prayer life, engage in acts of charity, and seek guidance from a spiritual father who can accompany you on your path. By embracing both faith and works, you are actively participating in your own sanctification, drawing nearer to God and His Kingdom. Now, dear seeker, what step will you take today to demonstrate your faith through loving action? May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever, today and always. May the blessings of the Holy Mother of God, the Virgin, and the Cross be upon us. Amen. © John's Repentance Reach out to us on our social media platforms and share it with your friends: https://linktr.ee/johnsrepentance
