(Part Four)
Therefore, it means to believe that Christ is the Son of God and the Son of Man, that He is a perfect God and a perfect man, and that He is a God who is a man without changing. Believing this and being baptized is a confirmation of our faith. Believing means accepting, for baptism means trusting. Baptism is performed in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Mathew 28:19) When Christ himself told those who were called Christians what their lives should be like, he said to them, "Learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart." (Matthew 11:29) Therefore, Christianity means believing in Christ's divinity, being baptized in his name, and living the life that Christ lived.
” But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.” Jeremiah 7:23
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us.
Amen.
