    Part Therefore the Reason Why

We Make Our Marriage to Be

(continued part)šŸ‘†šŸ‘‡ Therefore, the reason why we make our marriage to be a sacrament in the church is that our Lord Jesus Christ can be the head and center of our spiritual efforts in our married life. St. Paul said, "This mystery is great; But I say this about Christ and the Church" (Eph 5:32) because it is a sign of union between the divine and the flesh. All this is possible only when we receive invisible grace through visible service and live in spiritual discipline and conduct to the best of our ability. In general, the Holy Communion is what makes our marriage real and transforms us into a new body and we become one flesh. But in a worldly marriage system that is different from this, there is no salvation and blessing because it is a wedding in which Christ is not celebrated. In addition, the mystery of the bride and groom becoming one will not be fulfilled, and even after marriage, these couples cannot be called one but two. Moreover, by not doing this, they will lose the blessing and grace that they could have received. However, as it is said, "My people have perished for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6), perhaps the believers, unknowingly or knowingly, walking on the path of destruction, if there are those who have performed their marriage in a worldly system, they can repent and be united in the Holy Communion and begin their righteous journey for the rest of their days. May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always. May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen.
