Yet, despite this turbulent sea of modern possibilities, we must remember that the finding of a good spouse is not impossible. While the process requires vigilance, prayer, and patience, it is attainable. The success of one among a hundred should not discourage you, but inspire you, knowing that the effort you put in to find a partner who strengthens your spirituality, is worthwhile.
Unfortunately, the trials and tribulations of this search can sometimes distance us from our Church, disrupt our peace of mind, hinder our prayers, and obstruct our service to God. It is a difficult paradox to navigate - the pursuit of a Godly union often making us feel more removed from God Himself.
This predicament that you, and many others, find yourselves in reflects the inherent imperfection of our human condition. Even in our quest for what seems good and desirable, we stumble and err. This is particularly difficult for those striving to live a Christian life, for we are intimately aware of our wrongdoings and live under the shadow of guilt. Each mistake feels like a sharp, chastising word from God Himself.
However, remember this: It is the duty of conscience to blame us when we err, but it is also our privilege as God's children to seek His forgiveness and guidance. Before you embark on your journey of seeking a life partner, immerse yourself in prayer. Ask God to light your path, to guide your steps, and to reveal the right woman to you.
This journey is not solely about your wisdom or educational attainment. It is about discerning God's will and finding a spouse who complements your spiritual journey. The path is fraught with distractions and temptations. Do not let your gaze linger on the superficial, for it can lead to the 'fornication of the eyes', 'fornication of thought', and ultimately 'fornication of action'.
Seek counsel and advice, for it can offer much-needed guidance. Lean on God's wisdom to help navigate this complex terrain. This plea is not one to be taken lightly, for falling into sin and straying from God is a perilous journey that the devil is all too eager to encourage.
However, remember, no matter the mistakes made yesterday, today offers a new opportunity to approach God and admit, "I have sinned." We should never shy away from God due to our guilt and shame. To distance oneself from our merciful Father is a grave error, for it is He who forgives, renews, and revives us in our spiritual destruction.
God, the sanctifier of the saints, corrects us not to condemn us, but to draw us back to his holy path. In Him, we find our path, our strength, and ultimately, our salvation. Remember this and approach your spiritual courtship with the fear of God, the love of His commandments, and trust in His wisdom.
May the name of the Holy God be praised forever and ever in every tongue that He has created, today and always.
May the blessings of God's mother, the virgin, and the cross be upon us. Amen.
